We began using Catering by Design for our meetings and conferences at work last year. Their prices are comparable to all delivery options but their food is 100% better. Their corporate lunch menu options are varied enough to feed a picky group every day for weeks. We have probably used them for group lunches 100 times and every time has been on time and the same high level of quality. I even ordered from them for a private party that we had recently on a weekend and again we had the same high level of quality and service. Everyone loves their food. I recommend them completely.

I was having a surprise birthday party for my wife at a friends house. I needed everything taken care of at the house so there was no work for my friends to do at their house before, during and after the party. Step 1.We wanted a menu of apps that were heavy enough but not dinner. Mendy supplied us with a long list of possibilities and helped us pick the right ones from a large variety they have on their menu. Step 2.The set up was completed after a visit to the house prior to the party with input from the homeowner. The food looked great on the display and was absolutely outstanding with compliments from ALL the attendees. Step 3At the end of the evening the house was spotless, the leftovers were neatly wrapped and boxed and the homeowner was required to do nothing! Step 4Catering by Design provided great input, great food and great service and delivered on 150%.Highly recommend!

My employer uses Catering By Design at least once a week. Being the healthy foodie I am, I've found the entrees and sides to be flavorful and nutrionally balanced. Many restaurants and catering companies overwhelm the natural good flavors of fresh vegetables and salads by excessive amounts of cheese. CBD, really has sensible ingredients. I plan to use them for my own personal parties.

We used Catering by Design for our wedding at Barclay Villa in Angier. Kelli is an absolute dream to work with! She is very responsive through email and phone calls. We went by several times to nail down the menu as well as pick out linens for all the tables and Kelli was always friendly and super helpful. She even came to the final walk through at the venue, which made a huge impression on me! The food was absolutely out of this world! We chose the BBQ and chicken when green beans and mac and cheese. It was all so good and we had so many guests come up to us both during the reception and afterwards, talking about how wonderful the food was, especially the mac and cheese! There is also a huge selection of linens, plates, silverware, napkins, etc... to choose from, so I would recommend using them for rentals as well as food! I've also heard they do a great job with events other than weddings, as well! I will definitely be using them again!

All of them went above and beyond to make sure the was a success. The staff was so personable and seemed like they truly were enjoying themselves while working our event. We had a small, last minute reception to celebrate the life of our late aunt with family and friends. I gave them less than a 48hr notice and Kelli was able to accommodate our party. Ronnie setup the event and he was such a gentleman,super responsive and helpful. He cleaned up after the event and packaged all the leftover food for us.The food was delicious and the setup was also very nice. I certainly appreciated dealing with them and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

They did an amazing job for our Christmas party. They came out and set up everything for us and were prompt with the service. We tried the chicken breast with bacon and gouda, almondine green beans, red potatoes and the assorted baked cheesecakes. We will definitely be using them again!

Our wedding was wonderful.One thing you always hope for is delicious food for your guests. We had nearly 200 people and everyone loved it. The shrimp and grits were the big hit. But the service and the food was all wonderful!

We first chose Catering By Design for our wedding. It was an out door wedding in admittedly an inconvenient location for catering. Not only did they handle this in strides, they provided amazing food and service to boot. In fact that was one of the things guests kept raving about. I had a second experience with them by pure coincidence when they catered for the school where I work. Throughout the week of catering (it was a training summit) most of the comments about the other caterers were lukewarm to mildly positive at best. But one of the days was catered by Catering By Design, and people loved it. I must have heard a dozen times people independently complimenting the food. Not only did they deliver on great food and service once, but they didn't disappoint a second time. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I *cannot* say enough great things about Catering by Design. (That's coming from a family of foodies.) Everyone we worked with phenomenal, and service ran seamlessly on the day of the event. The food was exceptional - exactly the same from the tasting to the day-of. My parents exhausted all of the major caterers in the area, and none came close to Catering by Design with regard to food tastings. My husband and I were out-of-state, so my parents did the initial tasting. Catering by Design happily provided he and I another tasting, so we could sample and tweak the final menu. Perhaps MOST important - everyone prepared my husband and I that we wouldn't get a chance to eat on our wedding day. Catering by the Design saw to it that we tried everything from the cocktail hour and had a plate waiting for us when we sat down at the reception. I left my wedding full -- no togo box needed (but I know they would have provided one if we asked!)

Some of our guests are still talking about how good the food was at our wedding. We also loved that they included a bartender with their services, so we didn't have to worry about finding one. We just had to provide the beer and wine. They also included full china and they cut and served our cake. They were pros! We were also very surprised at how reasonable the prices were. I hosted a small surprise party for my husband's 40th birthday and hired Catering by Design to cater the event. I knew I didn't want a full meal, so I ordered the hors d'oeuvres buffet. It was SO good. Everyone that ate mentioned how great the food tasted! Amy came over and set up everything for us at the exact time and she did a fantastic job making it look good. I would definitely hire them again for catering big and small!

We used catering by design to provide food for a graduation party. We had 45 people attend, and ordered food for 40 people we ordered a combination of appetizers and entres. We ordered the slider bar, chicken parmesan, fresh fruit, Tuscan breads and spreads, and buffalo chicken dip. Cristina brought the food to our home. We ordered the 'nice set up' which included linens and finer serving dishes, and I would highly recommend this! The food was really good, and super generous portions. We had tons of leftovers. The food was set up in less than 30 minutes, and then the team returned the next morning to pick up all of the dishes. It was super easy and made the event stress-free. I would highly recommend using this caterer for your event.

Catering By Design catered a family reunion for me in Cary. The food was outstanding and I am a very difficult person to please! Michelle set up the entire buffet with disposable chafing dishes and sterno and everything stayed warm and delicious. Our menu was a 5 star Greek salad with strawberries and feta, grilled vegetables, penne with red peppers and basil cream sauce, mashed red skin potatoes and rolled chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms in a cream sauce. I would highly recommend every dish we had.

I was tasked with planning our company holiday party for around 200 people and catering is often one of the most challenging things to handle. Luckily, I found Catering by Design and now I'm never letting them go! The biggest impression they made was just how easy everything was. From the beginning, they made figuring out the menu so simple. Other caterers were so confusing with their options, prices, tiers, combos, it was so stressful. But with CBD, everything was so organized, the prices were clear and they were so helpful and responsive with any last minute changes we wanted. At the event, setup was a breeze. They arrived early and were ready to go well ahead of time, and were very communicative during the whole event, making sure everyone had a chance to eat and no one left hungry. The food was absolutely fantastic, every single dish was delicious and I received compliments nonstop from our employees and staff. When it was time to pack up, they didn't leave a a single crumb behind! They were so efficient, professional and friendly and simply everything was flawless! I truly could not have asked for a better caterer and I look forward to having them at every single company event moving forward!

Outstanding service and food! Everyone enjoyed the hot buffet, especially the lasagna and the grilled chicken with garlic and lemon. The miniature assorted desserts were excellent. Also impressive is the quality of the disposable dinnerware and utensils. It was worth having the two servers who were polite, friendly and very professional. They set up, served and cleaned up - you cannot ask for more! Catering by Design works with your choices and offers an outstanding menu selection and service. My sister, brother and I used this service for a recent family event. We highly recommend them.

Catering By Design far exceeded our expectations; I just wish I could express how amazing they are. We did our tasting in June of 2019 and by the time we made it down the aisle, it was March of 2022. With so many changes we had to make throughout those almost three years, Catering By Design was unbelievably helpful and understanding. We decided to have stationed appetizers and a buffet because, let's face it, who doesn't like to have a bunch of options?! The staff was absolutely amazing and so accommodating, and the food was spectacular. As we provided the liquor, we decided to have Catering By Design provide the mixers and soft drinks and sweet tea. I asked if they could also provide grenadine and cherries so the six kids we had at the wedding could have Shirley Temples. What I never expected was for them to go over and beyond by making an entire beverage dispenser of Shirley Temple with a huge bowl of maraschino cherries next to it. Of course, I was a bit busy dancing my feet off so I didn't even notice it, but we received so many compliments on that detail. I wish I had realized it that night because it was so special. Never, in all my years, did I expect them to do that from my simple request of having grenadine and cherries! That is something you can't teach; their clients come first and they make you feel so special. The bartender was great and she kept checking on us through the night, ensuring we had everything we needed. The servers were so polite and personable and they were the epitome of professionalism. At the end of the night, they packed our leftovers in to go containers and packed the leftover cake for us also. Do yourself a favor and choose Catering By Design!

We could not have been happier with CBD for our daughter's wedding reception. Jim and the rest of the staff were great to work with and very attentive. The venue lost power for 1.5 hours right before dinner and CBD just rolled with it. We got lots of compliments on the food. Would definitely recommend CBD.

We got married June 17th at The Oaks at Salem! An incredible day but unfortunately, a bad storm came through and knocked the power for about an hour as dinner was being served.
