It’s the holiday season! A time of the year when family, friends, and coworkers get together to celebrate all that they’re blessed with. Today we’re highlighting Polyzen’s annual holiday party. Polyzen was founded over 20 years ago as a way for medical device companies to have a turn-key solution for developing and cultivating new ideas.
We had the great pleasure of catering Polyzen’s holiday party this year. It was held at Artspace, which is located in downtown Raleigh NC. We took some really awesome pictures at the event, and we hope you enjoy this small preview. As the party got started, guests found the main room set up with a huge heavy Hors d’Oeuvre Buffet. The buffet featured some of our most popular items, such as Imported and Domestic Cheeses with Assorted Crackers and Seasonal Fruit Garnish, Parmesan Crusted Chicken Bites Spring Rolls with Sesame Ginger Sauce, Raspberry and Brie Stuffed Phyllo Bites, and Petite Crab Cakes with Lemon Aioli.
Other buffet menu items included Chilled Marinated Grilled Vegetables, pictured above, as well as this creamy Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip, featured below, that was served with fresh Pita Points.
Pictured in the scrolling carousel at the top of the page, you’ll find pictures from our famous Mashed Potato Station. This fun and interactive station included creamy Mashed Potatoes with toppings like Butter, Sour Cream, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon Bits and Scallions.
The holiday menu also featured two separate Manned Carving Stations where our Chefs created outstanding dishes. The first station consisted of Sea Salt, Garlic and Herb Crusted Top Round that was sliced and custom cooked to order! The aroma of the pan fried steaks was amazing, as was the taste. The steaks were served with Balsamic Onion Marmalade, Whole Grain Mustard Sauce and Cranberry Aioli as well as Assorted Rolls with Butter for custom sliders.
The second Chef Manned station was for Made to Order Pasta! Chef James created custom dishes for the guests using Penne, Alfredo and Marinara Sauces, Spinach, Caramelized Onions, Sautéed Peppers and Hand-Chopped Chicken.
For dessert, we had festive Assorted Holiday Pops, Hand Rolled Chocolate Truffles and Holiday Cookies.
