The Grand Marquise Ballroom offers brides that yearn for luxury a spectacular setting that is only minutes from downtown Raleigh, NC. Catering By Design had the great pleasure of serving Monesha and Zedrick, and all of their friends and family, for a fun and wonderful wedding reception. While the reception hall was being set up, and the wedding party was taking pictures, guests had the pleasure of enjoying an Hors d’ Oeuvres table of Imported and Domestic Cheeses, with Gourmet Assorted Crackers and Seasonal Fresh Fruit as a garnish.
When it was time to dine, we actually had two grand buffets to make sure all the guests could quickly and easily make their plates. The dinner theme was Italian so the buffet started off with a Hand Tossed Caesar Salad with Fresh Romaine and our homemade Caesar Dressing.
Below we have featured our Penne Pasta that was tossed with Portobellos, Sundried Tomatoes and bathed in our homemade Basil Cream Sauce. The other side consisted of a fresh Sauté Vegetable Medley.
For the main course, guests had the pleasure of dining on Baked Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach, Roasted Peppers and Vermont White Cheddar and topped with a homemade Cream Sauce.
Everyone enjoyed the gorgeous wedding cake for dessert.
